At stage 1 of the Neisse-Oder-Radweg (D12, radkompass.de/D-Route/oder-neisse-radweg.html, Zittau - Görlitz) it is worth taking a detour to the sleepy Drausendorf (now part of Zittau). Dirt road just before Richnow`s bed and bike (formerly Drausendorfer Krone). The village shines not through architectural or cultural highlights, but through its location with regard to the coal mine for the Turow power station. It is feared that one day the place will slide into the pit.
