There was a first church in Pinnow as early as 1604. Today's church was built between 1909 and 1910 as a brick hall on a field stone base. In 1943 the church was threatened with demolition because the village of Pinnow was to be relocated for the establishment of the Kurmark SS military training area. Due to the end of the war, it did not happen again.

Already in 1604 there was an adobe church in Pinnow, a daughter church of Grano. It offered the Christians space for contemplation and prayer for almost 300 years, until the parish finally decided in 1899 due to the desperate condition of a new building. In 1909, ten years later, he was able to tackle it. Today's Pinnower village church was created based on the design by Baurat Büttner from Berlin-Steglitz and F. Hoßfeldt and the construction drawings by Baurat Erdmann from Guben.
