You can combine this section with a nice little circular hike with the Fürstensteig. It is well known for the Fürstensteig that it requires a head for heights and surefootedness. The section from Bärgälla saddle to Gafleis saddle, however, also. You are in the process of mending the path (04.09.19), but it still has quite narrow spots and on the scree-like surface and the incline, it definitely requires surefootedness for this route as well.
And while you're already here, a detour to the Alpspitz is very, very worthwhile (the way there is by the way less demanding). The view from the Alpspitzt is wonderful and even artificial wooden benches invite you to linger there.

The serpentines wind their way up the rugged rock to the saddle very impressively. A small hiking highlight on the already very beautiful circuit over the Fürstensteig
