This part of the Oefterbachtal is our favorite course route in the region. Lots of fallen trees to climb over or crawl under. In addition, always lonely and quiet, sometimes with deer. Therefore, this route is only suitable for hikers who love "adverse" conditions. Fascinating that such an inspiring wilderness can be found so close to development.
Now, in wet November 2020, there is still no water rushing down the steep concrete canal at the beginning of the path, but the trees now provide a view of the Oefter Weiher (or reservoir?).
