Fuggerei Augsburg

A visit to the first large social project, Fuggersiedlung, is a MUST.
You can view an apartment and get an impression of how you used to live there. The bunker is also interesting.

It is an interesting mix of a social project with a long history and, so to speak, a living museum. In addition to the settlement itself, there are basically 4 independent (small) museums within the "city walls".
As of April 22, entry was €6.50 for an adult. Opening hours Mon-Sun 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Current information can be found at fugger.de/fuggerei.

500-year-old row house settlement with 67 houses and its own small church. The linear arrangement of the houses, each with 2 apartments, leaves the visitor with an orderly and tidy impression.
