Hiking

The Reichenstein Viaduct spans the Ermesbach valley near Kloster Reichenstein and is part of the former Vennbahn. For decades, the railway line connected Aachen with the north of Luxembourg and was used for the transport of ore and coal, among other things. After the Second World War, it gradually lost importance. Today, the cross-border Vennbahn cycle and hiking path runs along the former railway line.

Hiking

Where the Vennbahn used to run, today only cyclists and pedestrians are on the move. An impressive structure that offers a great view from the top.

Hiking

This impressive structure spans the Ermesbach near Reichenstein Monastery. Vennbahn trains once ran over this viaduct. Today, this beautiful bridge is part of the 1300-kilometer-long RAVel cycle and hiking trail network.
