Opposite the church, in the parsonage, a "fountain miracle" happened in 1866: 2 brothers were buried 20 m deep while building a well in the parish courtyard and only recovered alive after 11 days. The funeral service had already been prepared. The rebuilt fountain and a memorial commemorate this miracle and are freely accessible. For the anniversary in 2016 a musical about the miracle was performed in the church by the village youth and the church was packed. The nice lady in the parsonage then told us about the nearby Rosenborn, which was said to have healing properties. Processions used to go there.
