Hiking

The market was created in the 12th century and the long-distance trade route crossed it. In 1730, the post mile column was erected, for a few years it showed travelers the times to the nearest towns, then, but that was the Prussians, it was dismantled again and converted into a war memorial (1876), which commemorates the fallen in Großkmehlen war 1870/71. The current column is therefore a replica.
