A half-timbered church in Lindenau was moved to Frauendorf in the 17th century. However, on the night of December 25-26, 1909, the church fell victim to the flames. In 1920, the Lauchhammer joint-stock company donated the bell tower, which is still standing today, to the community of Frauendorf.
