The Schönfeld Palace Park in its current form goes back to the Dresden horticultural architect Max Bertram. Max von Burgk commissioned him in 1889 to redesign the park around the castle. By 1893, a diverse park landscape was created by the royal Saxon horticultural director.
In the years 1914/15 the park was rejuvenated in order to adapt it to the changing fashion and the needs of the grown tree population. The garden architect Willy Lange, who lives in Berlin-Wannsee, was commissioned to do this. (Source: schloss-schoenfeld.de/rundgang_schlosspark.html)

I was here in the dead of winter, but the castle park also has its charms. The paths and the many small bridges over which you are guided are particularly beautiful!

Stroll along, relax,
enjoy.Info:Curved paths lead to the
park along the waterways. It is
a typical example of a Wilhelminian-era landscape garden and represents
the ideal of a bourgeois understanding of nature. After the purchase of the palace, the Dresden landscape architect Max Bertram
was commissioned to design the park in 1889.
