The Poncione cross

Built in 1914, at the behest of Don Enrico Borghi, it remains next to the Grotto of Lourdes facing the abbey of Ganna until it is transported by about fifteen volunteers to the summit of Mount Poncione and inaugurated on April 4, 1954.

On 1 January 2014, on the occasion of its centenary, at the behest of the ON association, it was illuminated with an alternative energy project. Its light has protected all who look upon it ever since, giving hope and energy to the entire community.

In 2022 the volunteers intervened with a new lighting project and replacement of the external screens
