Along the ridge that goes from Mount Orsa to Mount Pravello there are trenches, machine gun posts and shelters to form a maze of fortified structures, built in such a way as to exploit the natural course of the ridge overhanging the lake and the natural buttresses. Where the work of man was necessary, local limestone was used as a building material which contributed decisively to the camouflage of the masonry.
