The remains of the crushing and washing plant, called "BREWA" for short, are an absolute highlight for me. After the blasting in the "Schneidersköpfle" quarry, the granite was crushed and washed here. Then loaded into wagons and taken to the construction site of the Schwarzenbach dam by forest railway. There, this granite was mixed into cement to increase strength. The former route of the forest railway is a beautiful path for hiking and also for mountain biking from the Schneiderskopfsattel to the dam.
