Lauenburg Old Town

Lauenburg is a great destination on every bike tour. There are accommodations from the youth hostel over private rooms to the hotel - for every taste and budget. Above all, Lauenburg is a really picturesque place. Alone the old town on the banks of the Elbe with their leaning half-timbered houses is unique. An adventure is a ride on the last remaining coal-powered paddle steamer over the Elbe. There is also a lot to discover in the city.

The path on the bridge is quite narrow. One shares the path with the pedestrians. Attention! If you go to the two bridges left in the old town expects a cobblestone everywhere.
