The Scheerwoogmühle, unfortunately only one table left.
The Scheerwogmühle was first mentioned in 1447 as the mill of the Hertlingshausen monastery. It remained in place even after the monastery was dissolved in 1521. It became part of the "Small Monastery Courtyard". The mill initially consisted of a grain and oil mill. This was later supplemented by a hemp grater. View of the small cloister courtyard around 1850 The flour mill, consisting of a peeling and grinding process, was used for flour production. In the oil mill, oil was extracted from the seeds of the hemp and flax plants, which was mainly used as lamp oil. The hemp grater was used to process plant fibers from common flax or flax.

Unfortunately, on the Leininger Klosterweg there are often only information boards that indicate the existence of various mills and monasteries.

Nice hiking trail, a bit boring in between.
