Best Hikes to Lambertskreuz Hut and Beer Garden

Tips

  • Like all Palatinate forest huts, the Lambertskreuzhütte also offers delicious hospitality at a very fair price. There is a nice children's playground and the forecourt is shaded. A nice place to stop and relax.

  • The old crossroads, 467 m high, was named after a medieval stone cross that takes its name from Saint Lambertus, former Bishop of Maastricht, who was murdered around 705. The cross was first mentioned in a document in 1280. This makes the Lambertskreuz the oldest surviving stone cross in the Palatinate. Source: Wikipedia
