Viaduct over the Prießnitz River; consisting of high sandstone arches, it served as a traffic link and support for gas pipelines and main water pipes upon completion. One of Dresden's most striking bridge structures from the second half of the 19th century, it is also significant in connection with the development of the Albertstadt district and is important from an architectural, military, and urban planning perspective.
