The city mill is - or better said it was - a water mill, a moat leads to it from the Pulsnitz - the "Mühlgraben". The weir is a few hundred meters further. Originally there were two overshot water wheels in the mill: the smaller, narrower one for the sawmill and the larger, wider one for the grain mill. Today the mill is privately owned and the owner is very committed to maintaining the mill.
