Elisabeth Church, Langenlois
Former Citizens' Hospital Church of St. Elisabeth
The former Citizens' Hospital Church of St. Elisabeth on the north-eastern corner of Kornplatz is a late Gothic, baroque hall building with a recessed choir, built in the second half of the 15th century. The nave is opened up by lunette windows. To the west, the hipped roof can be seen above the smooth gable front. The elevated choir has a five-eighths end and double stepped buttresses.

The Elisabeth Church was built around 1420. After the Second World War, it was redesigned as a funeral hall and given its new purpose after the consecration on December 24, 1953.
The statue of St. Elisabeth of Thuringia and the fresco by the painter Otto Zeiller (1953) on the west facade above the portal, which shows St. Elisabeth distributing alms, point to the church patroness.
