The weather caught us off guard, literally. On Clemensberg, you're sure to get a great view in good weather. But the real reason for the hike was the mountain heath, and we weren't disappointed.

This high-quality hiking trail is highly recommended. The trail to the Lippe Velmerstot, through the heath and rocky landscape dotted with dwarf pines, is particularly worth the hike.

Der Farn auf dem Weg Klippenweg, mittlerweile mannshoch, wird gefühlt jedes Jahr mehr. The hike starts at the pilgrimage church in Kleinenberg and leads partly along paved paths, as well as along narrow trails and forest roads through the Egge valley. The ferns on the Klippenweg trail, now as tall as a man, seem to grow thicker every year. We were lucky that most of the path had been cleared…
