The Krinnenspitze can be easily reached in summer via several variants. Very nice view up here. In winter, when there is a lot of snow, the easiest way is to climb with snowshoes via the Nesselwängler Edenalpe and Gräner Ödenalpe.

  • After strenuous ascent, the view in every direction rewards you! Beautiful summit with an all-round view.

  • When you climb up, it makes for "out of hours". In the holiday season, it is crowded up there.

  • Walking with a dog:

On this route is not a dangerous place and even with a sprightly senior, the summit can be climbed. As TomB writes, go early. When the summit is full, the dog can easily be tethered below the signpost and does not have to be crowded.

  • The Krinnenspitze can be reached via a challenging and easy path. There is an alpine pasture on both paths. Definitely recommended, as you have a beautiful view of the striking mountains (Rote Flüh, Gimpel) on the other side of the valley.

  • Comfortable mountain to climb. Even in winter, it is usually feasible with the appropriate equipment.

  • The krinnenspitze is e.g. It is relatively easy and quick to reach via the Meraner Steig - good footwear, as with all alpine tours, is a prerequisite. It offers a great view over the Tannheimertal. Who is too tired for the descent, can go to the Krinnenalpe with the mountain railway back to the valley (vice versa, you can also boot).
In my opinion, the starting point is the trail parking lot in Klein Meran and from there on the Krinnenspitze and on the Meraner Steig back again (ie the tour in a clockwise direction).
Excellent rest stop at the Jausenstation Klein Meran.

  • Very nice peak, not difficult to reach. From Haldensee you have about 850hm to the cross. Since part of the way leads through a steep meadow, it could get slippery here when wet. Be sure to take sunscreen with you when it's sunny, so there are no trees upstairs, so there's no shade either.

  • The summit is easy to reach, several routes of varying difficulty lead to the cross, but all of them are of a moderate level overall, so that the Krinnenspitze is suitable for beginners.
Great view of the Tannheim mountains.
