The Great Schlicke rewards the ascent with a dreamy 360 ° panoramic view! The ascent is not difficult for both the Füssner Jöchle and the Otto Mayr hut, assuming appropriate condition. Highly Recommended!

From the Vilser Alp the ascent takes about 2.5 hours. The ascent is more challenging than the ascent of the Otto Mayr hut and requires good surefootedness. In the ascent to the Vilser Scharte is a somewhat exposed, cable insured rock level to master.

From Füssener Jöchle an easy to reach "real" summit with a fantastic panoramic view!
If you do not want to go down to the huts just go back to the train (Füssener Jöche).

The ascent on the up to the summit (condition and sure-footedness required) well walkable path is from the south side;
Once arrived at the summit, the whole panorama opens up over the foothills of the Alps to the north of the Großer Schlicke;
