In September 1934 it all started with breaking stones in the quarry.
In May 1935 the first cornerstone was laid in Langenhorst.
In 1936 the first settler was able to move into his house.
In 1938 the first 90 houses were built on 100 hectares of land, all the settlers had worked hard and built everything on their own.
The settlers created 90 new settler positions by their own contribution through inventiveness, resourcefulness and hard work by 1952.
The other settler sites built in the following years were built on by companies.
