Von Saarn aus geht es erstmal oberhalb der Ruhr am Hang entlang zur Mintarder Brücke (Ruhrtalbrücke A52). Über die von Pferdekoppeln und kleinen Höfen geprägte Landschaft führt der Weg zurück zum Auberg. Hier gab es früher einen sg. Standort-Übungsplatz der Bundeswehr. Heute ist der Auberg größtenteils ein Naturschutzgebiet mit ausgedehnten Wiesenflächen. Die Tour endet am historischen Zisterzienserkloster Saarn.

W'tal Zoo - Cronenberg Teil 1 Leider ist unterwegs die Aufzeichnung abgebrochen, daher hier der 1. Teil. Vom Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten geht es zunächst am Märchenbrunnen vorbei bergauf zur Sambatrasse. Weiter geht der Weg erst über die Trasse ein Stück durch den Zoo 🐅, dann auf Pfaden parallel zur Trasse Richtung Kaisereiche und Bf. Burgholz. Es folgt ein Abschnitt kreuz und quer durchs Arboretum Burgholz 🌲🌳 bis zur Landstraße. Von dort führt der Weg am Adelenblick und am Manuelskotten vorbei ins Kaltenbachtal. Am Bach und ein Stück an der Trasse der Museumsstraßenbahn entlang geht es schließlich hinauf zum Ziel in Cronenberg.
