Small village on the Schmollensee, worth a visit, including the castle, and his beer garden.
First mentioned in a document, the village Pudagla was written in 1270 as "Pudgla", also "Putglow". This is a paraphrase of the Slavic pad glowe (= on the mountain) and refers to today's mountain of faith south of the village on the Schmollensee. This hill got its name derived from "glowa" - Low German = "Faith" (source Wikipedia)
