The Steiner Catholic parish church Heilig Kreuz was built from 1881 to 1884 in neo-Gothic style.
In its place there was previously a castle chapel of the Burg zum Stein. Today's church was built according to plans by Ludwig Maier and was extensively restored between 1987 and 1994.
The floor plan is cross-shaped, with the main portal facing south in the transept. There are large rose windows in the gables of the transept. The interior of the church is kept relatively simple, with a figure of the Madonna, a figure of Joseph and the baptismal font from 1755 from the previous building.
Also noteworthy are the colorful roof tiles that were used on the roof of the tower and some other roof surfaces.
Due to the exposed position of the church, the tower can be seen from afar.
