Unique and challenging path ...

The Steinweg is a beautiful path, but suffers from the crowds of tourists.

Over creek and stone it goes up to the Brocken with many other adventurous Brocken conquerors. If you are looking for solitude and peace, you will not find it here.

For me personally one of the greatest "hiking trails" ever!

Interesting route on the Brocken, which is not badly parents. In any case, you should be sure-footed and be in good condition. During my hike, however, the path had turned into a small stream.

Sometimes not a forest highway, but over hill and dale. Sturdy shoes are the order of the day. Although I saw hiking flip-flops there too.

Demanding but beautiful path

The Brockenstraße is the feeder to the summit, but also one of the longest ways up. There are always official abbreviations and paths branching off, there is something for every type of hiker.

Many beautiful hiking trails lead around or over the Brocken.

A very similar natural path peppered with large stones that have to be overcome here and there. Good footwear required. You could also call it Bone Breaker Walk. 🙄😁

Since the area was rather sparse in terms of tree growth, we were happy to find a few trees here. This section of the trail is rather busy and you should wear sturdy shoes.

A very beautiful, rocky, natural path begins here.

Hiked part of the Teufelsstieg with a large backpack. Wasn't that nice. You should be sure-footed and not take so much luggage with you. Otherwise really nice with some very steep and rocky sections.

Stony and natural path. But unfortunately too crowded.
