The Brocken Garden is in hibernation until mid-May! In the botanical garden on the Brocken summit, around 1500 species of high mountain plants from all over the world grow. Arrival and accessibility
The Brocken cannot be reached by car because the Brocken road is closed to public transport. You can get there on various hiking routes, by bike or with the barrier-free Brockenbahn. There is a disabled toilet in the Brockenhaus. nationalpark-harz.de/de/natur-erleben/brockengarten

The botanical garden of the Brocken has existed since 1890 and is now home to around 1,500 plant species from all high mountains in the world and is looked after by volunteers.

The Brocken Garden was founded in 1890 on the plateau of the 1142 m high summit. In addition to tasks in teaching and research, it is a public display facility for high mountain plants, which now contains around 1600 species.☘️🌾🌿🍃🌳🌱🪴⚘️🌼
