The “beetle corpse” on this path seems somewhat surprising. How did the car possibly get here in this terrain that is not exactly suitable for cars? Although I'm actually in favor of removing this kind of "disposal" from the forest, this find is quite interesting and after probably decades of rotting, it probably no longer poses a threat to the environment. In this condition, you can clearly see the VW's design basis, consisting of a central tube frame and the air-cooled 4-cylinder boxer engine in the rear with the transmission in front of the rear axle.
