Today I wg. Looking for a tour of the floods that does not lead along the Ruhr, the Baldeneysee or the Deilbach. So I once cycled to the Duisburg Landscape Park. Incidentally, it was faster than using public transport 😉
The route in Essen was really nice again, cycling routes or through green valleys, very recommendable.
The section through Oberhausen was easy to drive, but it wasn't nice. And the LaPaDu always works!
On the way back we stopped in a beer garden on the way in the Alt-Frintrop restaurant with a really nice beer garden!

Arrived in Dorsten the train fell due to. engine failure, the next one shouldn't come for an hour. So, for a moment, let Komoot plan a tour, get on your wheels and off you go. It was actually a really nice way. But it got blacker and blacker in the sky, so we took the subway in Altenessen for the last 7 km. Luckily. Because when it arrived in Holsterhausen it poured and thunderstorm from buckets. Overall a really great day today!

A really nice route, partly along the canal and along the Lippe, partly through small villages, past fields and sometimes on bike paths along the road. The second half of the tour brought headwinds. There was alternating sun and shade, a beautiful Raesfeld Castle and plenty of ice cream parlors and beer gardens along the way. This is bearable.
