Hiking
The church was mentioned in a document as early as 1195.
However, it was destroyed twice, in 1504 and 1704, and rebuilt each time.
The onion dome dates from the 18th century.
In 1954 the nave was rebuilt and expanded.
The flat wooden ceiling, which is rather unusual for Bavarian churches, dates from this time. However, I think that this church is worth seeing precisely because of this wooden ceiling.

And yes, the wooden ceiling is unusual and impressive.
The church was also open during Corona times, an FFP2 mask inside is mandatory. You can light candles in the nearby Marienkapelle in front of the Marienbild (not possible in the church itself).
