The Hermannsmühle is located on the Morsbach near Remscheid. The first mill is said to have stood here in the 15th century, but it fell into disrepair at the beginning of the 16th century. It is known that the mill, which was newly built in 1575, was in operation for several decades. In 1851 the existing mill was expanded and a steam engine was purchased in 1868.

The mill building and the mill pond are still preserved today. Old millstones at the southern entrance to the house indicate that it was used as a grain mill. The mill served as a grinding mill until the beginning of the 20th century. The half-timbering has now (as of 02/2025) been replaced by slate. The property cannot be visited.
