The Tackermühle farmstead was originally used as a fruit mill by the farmers of the free noble village of Lüttringhausen and was first mentioned in documents in 1487 as Heintzenmühle. It received its current name from the Tacke family from Kotthausen, who owned the mill from 1651.

Hiking

The Tackermühle was first mentioned in 1487. In the 19th century it was converted from a fruit mill into a spinning mill, then a steam grinding mill was operated and a tool forge followed. The Tackermühle was then converted into a holiday home. The pond was made smaller in 1925 and later, but it was still large enough for boating.

Today the Tackermühle is a listed building and cannot be visited.
