Accessible with the Turmbergbahn. The Turmbergbahn has been going up the mountain since 1888. It is the oldest funicular in Germany still in operation. Alternatively, the mountain can be reached via the "Hexenstäffele", a stairway that leads in 528 steps on a direct path from Durlach to the Turmberg.
