The Chapel of Our Lady of 't Zand is located next to the immovable heritage Domein 't Zand and close to the Dassenaarde nature reserve.

A 17th-century farm forms the core of this domain. In 1868, contractor and Catholic MP Joseph-Adrien Beeckman built a large, neoclassical country house. The old farm buildings were appropriately redecorated by Beeckman into a castle farm and depot, in the same neoclassical style as the castle. Later 'modern' elements were added, including a "greenhouse" in 1880 and even an "electricity workhouse" in 1906. Surrounded by a 3-hectare landscaped park, with a small pond with an arched bridge; driveway shaded by woodland; superficial landscaping of the meadows northwest of the castle in 1910-1930; relics of the original plantations.
