Berlin-Buch is always worth a walk. There are 5 hundred-year-old hospitals, all of which are under monument protection, the beautiful castle park and the castle courtyard with a great restaurant and hotel. All around Buch are the former sewage fields and today a lot of forest has developed there. From Bln.-Buch you can then take other beautiful hikes, e.g. to Basdorf (18 km), to Wandlitzsee (25 km), to Biesenthal (25 km), to Birkenwerder (25 km), on the "Barnimer Dörferweg" to S-Bahn station Wuhletal (22 km) and many other interesting tours. I've done all of these tours. Every year I hike between 600 and 800 kilometers in the Berlin area and in the whole of Brandenburg. This year, "thanks" to the pandemic, I had a lot of time for hikes and have already made 43 tours with over 1,050 km. But I am a "single fighter" and do these tours up to 40 km all by myself with modern navigation aids and a hiking map!
