"Wasserbunker Schreibersklamm" from 1939 as an element of the air defense zone west on the Hummelberg in Berghausen, which today serves as a domicile for bats, see justupersner.de/Carsten/Dateien/LVZ%20West%20in%20Groetzingen.pdf

The bunker is located in the NSG Schreibersklamm and is only used by bats today.

On the Knittelberg near Grötzingen there are still the remains of a position that belonged to the ground defense line of the LVZ West east of the Rhine. Contrary to previous assumptions, this was not an anti-aircraft position. Rather, the position was intended to secure the intersection of the former Reichsstrasse 3 and 10 (today's B3 and B10) and Reichsstrasse 3 north of the Knittelberg. For this purpose, machine-gun loop stands, crew shelters and a water bunker were built. It is not certain whether there was also a bunker for storing an anti-tank gun.

In September 1939 a light anti-aircraft gun was posted in the position, which served to defend the position against possible low-flying aircraft. In addition, a listening point was set up on the Knittelberg. It was supposed to use a listening device to locate approaching aircraft and to relay warnings to air raids and flak
