The ascent after leaving Cabel starts gently and increases to 10%. The asphalt on this section is new. Once at the top, the surface alternates between concrete and, in places, composite paving. The desire for a racing bike has not succumbed now, but it works.

The Cabeler Berg has been re-paved and is great to drive. At the end of the Cabelers Berg the surface is rather bad and very bumpy. Can be driven on with the RR but rather careful if you love your RR. ;)
