The Böttiger promenade starts on Rudelsweiherstrasse and leads west past the Jewish cemetery and former quarries. At the end of this you will find the Friedrich Rückert poem plaque on the Schneckenbergla and you can continue down several stairs to the Pfaffweg.

Nice way from the cellar area in Erlangen to Bubenreuth - or vice versa. You walk between trees and always have a wide view of the city or the surrounding country. In the north you can see the two tubes of the Burgberg tunnel.
