Tips
Kamerik was an independent municipality from 1811 to 1989. It initially consisted of ribbon development on both sides of the Wetering. That is still easily recognizable and the original buildings are now a protected village view. Many houses are classified as monuments. The Dutch Reformed Church was built sometime around 1855.

Kamerik is divided in half by the Kameriksche Wetering. It is a small idyllic village near Woerden.
