In 2017, the Ludwig Museum Koblenz will be a quarter of a century old. To be more precise: on 18 September, the opening of the art institution at Deutsches Eck marks the 25th anniversary. It is housed in one of the oldest buildings in Koblenz, the Deutschherrenhaus, which was built in 1250, and is dedicated to the very latest art. At half a dozen exhibitions a year, the creation of still living masters and successful young artists from all over the world is presented. In short: Contemporary art is the main focus of the Koblenz Ludwig Museum.
