Sturdy shoes are definitely advisable here. If it's waterproof, you can also take the shortcut through the water. ;) Be careful, the rock stairs and wooden bridges can be very slippery.

  • The path leads at the most beautiful point through the stream bed, sometimes with wire ropes to hold on to. A bit challenging, but really worth it! Can also be done with dogs.

  • Hello, if it rained, take good care of the fall. Avoid slippery shoes. Otherwise, it is a nice way, especially children have fun.

  • I have not experienced so far, that in a gorge, so to speak directly in the creek with tw. Handseilläufen secured quite adventurous moved. In hindsight I think it is more interesting and probably easier to go from the bottom up.

  • Beautiful gorge, I didn't expect that in this area, although the well-known Bavarian counterparts are more impressive and simply longer.
Ascent without breaks can be done in 30 minutes, provided that you are sure-footed.

  • Always see people walking up there with sneakers. Not recommended, especially if it rained the day before.

  • We had almost no water in the gorge in June. With children to recommend, we had the small (5 months) in the stretcher (Manduca) and the big (3) had a lot of fun. If you save something else that is not dangerous. Way back as signposted on Panoramaweg make, very nice!

  • So the Rupertsklamm was definitely a highlight on the Rheinsteig! I think the locals will be able to confirm that. Wonderfully cool gorge. However, one should avoid the peak times ...

  • There are spacious benches in front of the entrance so you can linger after the circular route and the sometimes slippery descent.

  • This gorge keeps what it promises: A gorge worth seeing, which the "harmless" brook cut into the stone at some point. A green hiking trail that stretches up over bridges, stones and along the rocky sides and casts a spell over hikers.
