Locked tunnel entrance - in non-Corona times, you can probably get guided tours here by prior arrangement.

In winter the pit is reserved for bats. Closed during pandemics. At the moment (July 2021) construction work is taking place on a tunnel. Therefore still closed. Members of the Association for the Preservation of the Pit could not tell me how long the work was going to take. But you were happy to have your photo taken in front of the large information board. The one on the far left organizes the tours.
An attempt is currently being made to drain a tunnel.
Incidentally, the dismantling was not particularly successful here. Especially at a later time when it was hoped that lead and silver would be found in larger deposits.
