The station does not look so old, you can tell that only on one of the historic photos.

The station building in Rehfelde dates back to 1908 and was already co-financed by the municipalities of Garzau, Werder and Zinndorf. For the 100th birthday of the building, parking spaces and a bicycle parking space were set up along with information boards on the history and present of the Ostbahn. After that, work began on the actual building. The station was bought back by an English investor and a viable usage concept was developed. A dental practice has been located in the main building since 2012 and a tourism information center moved into the pavilion.

The former station building in Rehfelde is in excellent condition, but has not been used by the railway for several years.
