    Hiking

The Sauquellchen is a nondescript fountain near the Aschbacherhof. Wild boars used to wallow in this marshy spring area. The spring, covered with fern, diligently promotes water. It flows a 60 cm wide trickle in the direction of the road to Mölschbach. The source was taken in 1964 by employees of the Forstamt Kaiserslautern-West as a well. Unfortunately does not always flow.

In Sauquellchen, wild boars used to wallow in this swampy headwaters. Therefore the name. The spring, covered with ferns, eagerly draws water. It flows as a 60 cm wide trickle towards L503.
