On the north slope of the Letzberg, which is called Pfaffenberg, you will find the highest fountain in the city at 387 meters. The water flowing from the source flows down into the Bremertal via a cascade redesigned in the 80s from 57 mighty red sandstone boulders. From 1895 to 1935, the well supplied the Bremerhof with drinking water via a water pipe before it was then connected to the city's pipe network. An open shelter with a rustic seating area invites you to linger at the Pfaffenbrunnen - framed by giant larch, beech, ash, silver maple and the leather pod. From there, there is also a panoramic path around the north slope of the Pfaffenberg, which offers wonderful views of the city of Kaiserslautern and the Palatinate Highlands

Fountain southwest of the Bremerhof. The water, if it were there, would flow down the valley over 57 boulders.
