Here the place Eichenbach reminds of Friedrich Braun, called Bläke Fritz, an Eifel original. He lived from 1840 to 1934 and moved to the Eifel villages as a plumber and tinker and was known for his humor and quick-wittedness. He lived as a bachelor in house 15 in Eichenbach until he was ninety years old.
Opposite the monument, a seating group invites you to take a break.
