There is a beech tree with the sign "Hell" right next to the path. Next to it is a bench and a narrow path leads into the forest. If you follow it, you will find yourself after about 30 meters in front of a huge hole in the ground. The earth probably collapsed at this point many years ago. According to my research, this deep depression used to be known as hell's hole. That would explain the short form hell.
