Tips
The reel tower, also known as the »Diebsturm«, is probably the oldest Vaihinger tower. The Romanesque round arch frieze suggests that it was built in the 13th century. With its six floors, it dominates the silhouette of the old town. On the first floor there is still the "reel" with which prisoners could be lowered into the dungeon around 8 meters below.
