The Royal Cabinet of Paintings is located in one of the most beautiful neoclassical buildings in the Netherlands. Its location right next to the Binnenhof on Hofvijver, its intimate character and the exceptional quality of the collection make the Mauritshuis one of the most popular attractions of Holland for many visitors.

The Mauritshuis is home to the best Dutch painting from the time of Rembrandt and Vermeer. With its world-famous collection of paintings and beautiful monumental building, it is a pearl in the heart of the royal city, right next to the Binnenhof and within walking distance of terraces and the shopping area. Masterpieces such as Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring, The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp by Rembrandt, The Goldfinch by Fabritius and The Bull by Potter are on permanent display in this beautiful museum on the Hofvijver.
